The way the black and white is done is very nice and subtle but the contrast should have been upped a bit just to bring out more of the details in the trees themselves. However as it stands the way the darkness creeps in around the edges and the very soft nature of the photo looks almost dreamlike in quality. It really makes one think of being a child and waking up to a fresh snow; with the excitement and sheer joy only a child has. It's nice that the lightest part is in between the two trees as if to bring attention to the way the branches meet and brush together.
